Within the framework of the Action Plan of the National Strategy for the Protection of Human Rights, on March 16, the head of the Human Rights and Integrity building Center of the RA Ministry of Defence, Colonel Gevorg Martirosyan visited the territorial subdivision of the Shirak region of the conscription and mobilization replenishment service of the Defence Ministry.

The purpose of the visit was to raise the awareness of conscripts about the right to life, the prohibition of torture, as well as the activities of the Ministry of Defense's Human Rights and Integrity building Center.

In a conversation with the conscripts, Colonel Martirosyan wished the conscripts a peaceful and secure service, noting that the servicemen and the members of their families can receive clarifications on their rights, protection issues and social guarantees by calling 1-28  toll-free number of the Ministry of Defence hotline.
