Fourteen countries to participate in ArmHiTec 2018 International Expo

Deputy Defence Minister and Chairman of State Committee for Military Industry David Pakhchanyan held a news conference at the Ministry of Defence on 28 March.

Pakhchanyan said that ArmHiTec aims at strengthening Armenia's security, developing the military industry, deepening the relations with the partners, establishing cooperation and seeking new ties.

"The exhibition will be dedicated to the development of the military industry, the enhancement of the relations with our international partners, and establishment of new ties." Pakhchanyan said. "A number of events, such as conferences and round tables will be held during the expo; in particular, an Armenian-Russian conference with participation of the representatives of the field and business circles will be held. The Defence Ministry’s scientific and scientific-technical conference, a meeting of the CSTO Military-Technical Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee’s Business Council will be held." He added that over 30 companies from 14countries will attend ArmHiTec 2018.

ArmHiTec 2018 International Expo of Armaments and Defence Technologies will be held in Yerevan on 29-31 March. The expo is organised by the Armenian Ministry of Defence, the Yerevan Mathematical Machines Plant and Bison Union of Exhibition Companies. The latest military product samples, such as communication equipment, optical electronics devices, robotics devices will be on display on the Yerevan Expo‘s more than 1500 square meter arena.
