Another monitoring session of the Azerbaijan-Armenia border has taken place

On February 16th, a monitoring session of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border has been carried out by the office of the personal representative of the acting president of the OSCE, in the areas adjacent to the Chinary village of the Tavush region of the Republic of Armenia.

Field assistants of the personal representative of the acting president of the OSCE, Irzhi Aberlen and Christo Christov took part in the monitoring from the Armenina side.

During the briefind which took place in the central hall of the Chinary village following the monitoring session, the OSCE representatives were presented with the situation on the border, and statistics concerning the ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani side. The attention of the OSCE representatives was invited to the fact that the Azerbaijani side intermittently fires at civilian residential areas, grazing grounds and fields.

No ceasefire violations or incidents were recorded during the monitoring process.
