11 April, 2016 08:46
Last night and today, the Azerbaijani side released fire 17 times at the north-eastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani national border. Armenian positions were attacked with rifles, heavy artillery, and mortars. Recurrent shooting occurred on the Azerbaijani side.

The RA AF frontline subdivisions have exercised restraint, retaliated only in cases of strict necessity, and confidently pursue monitoring the situation on the border.

In accordance with the situational report conveyed by the NKR DA, on the night of April 10-11, the enemy violated the

agreement on ceasefire in several parts of the Nagorno-Karabakh contact line, by striking with rifles and mortars. The Armenian positions established in southern and northern areas were attacked with 60mm mortars (2 missiles) and AGS-17 grenade launchers (14 missiles).

The DA frontline units have mainly refrained from retaliation measures and confidently executed their duties.

In compliance with the reached agreement, today, on April 11th, Azerbaijan will be given the opportunity to continue searching for corpses on the contact line.

As for now, the fate of one DA serviceman remains unknown. Through the assistance of the International Red Cross Committee, necessary inquiries and works are carried out, which aim to determine his fate.
