On October 5, Armenia-Lithuania bilateral defence consultations took place at the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia.

Issues regarding the progress and prospects of cooperation between Armenia and Lithuania in the defence sector were discussed. Upcoming tasks and accomplished objectives for 2026 were reviewed.

Head of the Department of Defence Policy and International Cooperation of the Ministry of Defence, Levon Ayvazyan, presented the process of the Armed Forces' transformation to his counterparts.

At the conclusion of the consultations, Levon Ayvazyan and Gabija Damalakaitė, Head of the International Relations and Operations Group at the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Lithuania, signed the 2027 cooperation program between the Defence Ministries of Armenia and Lithuania.
