In the frameworks of preparations for participation in international peacekeeping missions, the launch of the “Eagle Partner-2026” military exercise was announced on June 17 at the “Zar” training center.

The servicemen involved in the exercise were welcomed by the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, Major General Artur Yeroyan.

The national anthems of Armenia, the United States, France and Greece, as well as the anthem of the “Eagle Partner” military exercise were played.

The exercise involves servicemen from the Armed Forces Peacekeeping Brigade of the Republic of Armenia, the ground forces of U.S. Army Europe and Africa, and the Kansas National Guard, the armed forces of France and Greece.

The main objectives of the exercise are:

Increasing the level of interoperability of units participating in international peacekeeping missions within the framework of peacekeeping operations,

Exchanging best practices in management and tactical communication,

Strengthening the readiness of the peacekeeping unit of the Republic of Armenia.
