Suren Papikyan, met with the Minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran
24 February, 2026 11:40Within the framework of his official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan, met with the Minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh.
The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran Grigor Hakobyan.
The ministers highly appreciated the level of Armenia-Iran cooperation in the defence sector, expressed determination to continue working towards the development of bilateral relations, and also discussed a number of issues related to cooperation.
The sides also exchanged views on a number of issues related to regional and international security.
