On September 6, the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan spread another disinformation, claiming that on September 5, the subdivisions of the RA Armed Forces opened fire in the direction of the Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border zone.

This style of action, based on spreading absolutely false information about the aggressive actions of the Armenian side and attempts to artificially aggravate the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, can in no way contribute to the real stabilization of the border situation.

The subdivisions of the RA Armed Forces did not open fire on Azerbaijani positions. Moreover, as we have already reported, a conscript serviceman, Junior Sergeant Arman Gagik Sargsyan, received a fatal gunshot wound the yesterday.
