On December 20, at the National Defense Research University of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, the III republican conference on the topic "Modern challenges and opportunities for the development of the military industry in Armenia" was held.

The main purpose of the conference, organized by the group of strategic games and modeling of the NDRU, was to provide a platform for unhindered scientific discussion of all interested parties in the development of the region - government bodies, scientists, business representatives, to discuss the possibilities of the military industry that meets the requirements of the nature of modern war, to find ways to overcome existing problems and obstacles.

The conference was attended by representatives of the military-industrial committee of the Ministry of High Technologies of the Republic of Armenia, the leadership of the NDRU, the teaching staff, students of the departmental academic retraining course "Military Security of the State" and the master's educational program "State and Military Management" and other guests.

During the conference, new realities caused by the changing nature of modern wars, tendencies of the development of the military industry and economic opportunities were comprehensively analyzed and evaluated.
