The RA Minister of Defence took part in the regular sitting of the CIS Council of Defence Ministers in Russia

On November 10, RA Minister of Defence Arshak Karapetyan took part in the regular sitting of the Council of Defence Ministers of the CIS member states in Moscow.

More than 20 issues included in the agenda were discussed during the sitting, including: development of multilateral cooperation in the field of defense, the conduct of joint computer command-staff exercise of the air defense "Regional Security-2022", the fight against the epidemic of the RCBD troops, humanitarian demining of joint engineering subdivisions, joint training of military personnel for the Armed Forces, the results of the international army games this year and other issues.

The members of the CIS Council of Defence Ministers exchanged views on the military-political situation and security issues, as well as praised the 30-year experience and development directions of CIS military cooperation.

At the end of the sitting, all the decisions of the Council of Defence Ministers of the CIS member states were signed, including the resolution of the Work Plan for 2022.
