On May 4, at about 20:00, at the combat position of one of the military units located in the southern direction, during the change of combat duty, a conscript, private soldier Artyom Hovik Melkonyan (born in 2002, conscription 2020-2, MOD CMS of TS of Gegharkunik region) received a fatal gunshot wound as a result of a shot that occurred due to a violation of the rules for handling weapons by a colleague. An investigation is underway.
