Minister of Defence of Armenia David Tonoyan awarded the Russian servicemen

By the order of Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia David Tonoyan, servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Alexey Susloparov and Vasily Chukhralya were awarded with the medal of “Marshal Baghramyan” and Alexey Stupnikov, Sergey Kalganov, Sergey Parfenov and Alexey Biserov were awarded with the departmental medals “For military cooperation” for carrying out large-scale activities for the prevention of the spread of the coronavirus infection and testing in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.

On August 28, the solemn awarding ceremony took place in the administrative complex of the RA Ministry of Defence, which was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia Sergey Kopirkin, military and military-air attaché of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Armenia, Colonel Andrey Grischuk.

Congratulating the awardees, David Tonoyan thanked the Russian side for its assistance in the fight against the coronavirus and noted that also thanks to the energy, hard work and high professional qualities of the servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces, we managed to overcome the difficult period of the pandemic with honor. David Tonoyan wished the Russian specialists personal and professional success.

The award-winning specialists expressed their gratitude for the high assessment and appreciation of their service.
