Maj. Gen. Artak Davtyan, the head of the Armenian Armed Forces Operative Department, and Maj. Gen. Tigran Parvanyan, the commander of the First Army Corps, participated in the solemn gatherings held in the units on the occasion of the new cycle in the Armed Forces.

In their speeches, the generals and the servicemen addressed the importance of timely performance of the combat tasks by military units, the programs to be implemented under the Nation-Army concept, as well as congratulated the tank crew that showed good results at the Tank Biathlon -2017 international competition.

The three-day tactical exercises that began after the start of the new training cycle were marked with the remarkable performance of the armoured subdivision of the unit under the command of Col. Levon Hovhannisyan, highlighting the high level of combat readiness of the military units.
