Eleven issues were discussed during the meeting, including the efficiency of military technical cooperation between the member states, the conduct of consultations concerning foreign policy, security and defense related issues by representatives of CIS member states and the level of preparation of the commanding bodies of the CSTO Collective Security system and its supporting forces.

The directions for the future development of the military component of the organization were noted.

Relevant documents were signed concerning abovementioned issues and a number of other questions.
