Work carried out by the military police has been summarized

A consultation took place at the headquarters of the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, which summarized the results of works carried out in 2016. Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Ara Nazaryan and Military Prosecutor of the Republic of Armenia Artavazd Harutyunyan took part in the consultation.

The chiefs of military police garrison units presented reports concerning results of works aimed at reducing crime and incidents, and other events aimed at developing discipline and education.
 

Chief of the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia major-general Samvel Ghukasyan, summarizing the results of works carried out by the military police in 2016, made references to accomplishments and strategies for solving existing issues. The Chief of the Military Police gave assignments aimed at raising the efficiency of planning and implementation of future works. Recommendations were made reorganize the current structure by redistributing resources, thus increasing efficiency.

The Military Prosecutor of the Republic of Armenia Artavazd Harutyunyan expressed how highly he values the cooperation between the Military Police and the Military Prosecutor. Speaking about cases of fatalities, Artavazd Harutyunyan noted that it is necessary to increase the effectiveness of current prevention methods.

Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Ara Nazaryan in turn gave have his assessment of works carried out by the military police of the Ministry of Defense in 2016, highlighting the fact that it will be necessary for the military police to be more attentive and alert, use its resources more effectively, and consistently develop professional skills throughout 2017.

At the end of the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Ara Nazaryan and major-general Samvel Ghukasyan awarded several members of the staff.
