The purpose of the visit was to conduct training on the process of operational planning for the command and staff students of the Military Institute after Vazgen Sargsyan.

During the event, lectures were conducted on comprehensive analysis and preparation of operative environment, estimation of situation, explanation of military tasks, development of action plans, as well as outline of operations and planning process in other phases.

The operative planning process of the Armenian Armed Forces is an element of a larger concept of ways and methods of military and combat actions, which is subjected to transformation within development of “Smart Defence” system, including an implementation of international consultation.
