First Deputy Minister of Defence, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, Lieutenant General Edvard Asryan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Rwanda to the Republic of Armenia, Joseph Nzabamwita.

The meeting was also attended by the Defence Attaché of Rwanda to the Republic of Armenia, Colonel Anthony B. Mbagaze.

Lieutenant General Edvard Asryan congratulated the Ambassador on assuming the position, wishing him success in his responsible mission.

During the meeting, the possibilities of cooperation in the field of defence between Armenia and Rwanda were discussed. Views were exchanged on issues of mutual interest.

The Ambassador conveyed to the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia the warm greetings of the Chief of the Defence Staff of Rwanda and the readiness to develop bilateral relations.
