Today in Paris, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan met with Catherine Vautrin, the Minister of the Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs of France. Catherine Vautrin congratulated Minister Papikyan on his victory in the parliamentary elections.

The parties highly appreciated the process of Armenia-France cooperation, emphasizing the further strengthening and development of the established effective partnership.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of Armenia-France cooperation and prospects for further development in both bilateral and multilateral formats. They also exchanged views on a number of issues related to regional and international security.

The meeting was also attended by Armenia's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to France,Arman Khachatryan.
