The meeting discussed the Committee’s 2017 performance and its 2018 action plan, as well as the main directions. The members of the Committee put forward proposals on the organization of joint activities.

In his concluding remarks, Defence Minister Vigen Sargsyan, who is the Committee’s chairman, praised the performance of the Committee’s members and the members of the Committee’s working group in 2017, gave instructions regarding the activities to be implemented in 2018, underscoring the importance of providing economic, moral and psychological assistance to the families of the prisoners of war, hostages and persons missing in action.
