The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the current situation on the line of contact between the forces of Artsakh and Azerbaijan and the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, and the events which took place since the previous meeting were discussed.

The Minister of Defense invited the attention of the guests to the incidents which recently took place on the front line, welcoming the targeted responses by the OSCE Minsk group co-presidents. Vigen Sargsyan emphasized the need to implement the monitoring and investigation mechanisms in accordance to the agreements reached in Vienna and Saint Petersburg, as an important factor in increasing the effectiveness of negotiations aimed at resolving the conflict.
