In accordance with the 2017 preparation plan of the council of Ministers of Defense of CIS member states, another meeting of the committee on the provision of flight security for the armed forces of CIS member states has taken place. Representatives of the secretariat of the council of Ministers of Defense of CIS members states took part in the meeting.

The participants received information concerning the current status of flight security for the armed forces of CIS member states, acquainted themselves with the concepts and approaches for the provision of flight security of leading states.

 

During the meeting, the Chief of Aviation Safety of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Sergey Baytenov was elected president of the committee.
