This meeting, hosted by the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom, is a continuation of the summit on the same topic held in New York City in 2015. The aim of the meeting in London is to summarize the result of works carried out following the commitments made last year, and to establish new commitments.

Last year, the Republic of Armenia made commitments to establish addition capacity, which includes a 2nd level field hospital and a subdivision for the detection and neutralization of improvised explosive devices.
