According to information received from the Nagorno-Karabakh Defence Army, the adversary has used mortars and cannons of various calibers, MM-21 (Grad) stations and the 9M33 M3 missile complex to intensively shell the front line and residential areas from April 26th until now.

Defence army subdivisions implement punitive measures in order to subdue the adversary's activities, causing significant loss of life and military equipment.

The situation on the front line remains tense, and the representative of the president of the OSCE, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk is regularly informed of ongoing developments. First Deputy Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Davit Tonoyan met with the Ambassador on April 26th. During the meeting, the situation on the NKR-Azerbaijan armed resistance zone as well as the provocative measures taken by Azerbaijan were presented. The role of the OSCE in releasing tensions in the resistance zone were highlighted, as was the necessity of implementing monitoring and incident investigation mechanisms.
