On April 20-21, the Azerbaijani side committed 16 violations on the north-eastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani national border. Azerbaijan released recurrent fire at Armenian positions with various calibre weapons and snipers.

The RA AF frontline subdivisions have exercised restraint, retaliated only in cases of strict necessity, and confidently pursue monitoring the situation on the border.

In accordance with the situational report conveyed by the NKR DA, on the night of April 20-21, the operative situation on the line of contact between the opposing forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan has generally remained the same. The enemy violated the oral agreement on ceasefire more than 70 times. More intense violations were recorded on the south-eastern section (Hadrut), the eastern section (Akna), and the north-eastern section (Martakert). On the north-eastern section, besides artillery weapons, the Azerbaijani armed forces also applied 60mm mortars (2 missiles) and AGS-17 grenade launchers (2 missiles).

The DA frontline units have mainly respected the oral agreement on ceasefire and consciously executed their duties to ensure the protection on the frontline along the entire border.
