On the night of April 13-14, the Azerbaijani side committed 9 violations through recurrent shooting, from rifles and heavy artillery, at Armenian positions located on the north-eastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani national border.

The RA AF front line subdivisions have exercised restraint, retaliated only in cases of strict necessity, and confidently pursue monitoring the situation on the border.

In accordance with the situational report conveyed by the NKR DA, on the night of April 13-14, the operative situation on the line of contact between the opposing forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan has generally remained the same. Cases of various caliber weapon and mortar uses have been registered in different areas. Positions established in the north-eastern (Mardakert) and south-eastern (Hadrut) sections of the contact line were attacked with 82mm (1 missile) and 60mm (11 missiles) mortars, as well as AGS-17 grenade launchers (25 missiles).

Throughout the night, Azerbaijan’s subversive reconnaissance group attempted to infiltrate Armenian positions. At 04:55, the operation initiated by the enemy’s special forces in the northern area has been forced back in time, by Armenian sentries.

The DA front line subdivisions continue to respect the oral agreement on ceasefire, and consciously implement their duties.
