Opening ceremony of MOD Strategic Researches Institute

Mr. Serzh Sargsyan, Secretary, National Security Council under the President of the Republic of Armenia, the Minister of Defense as well as deputy ministers, high rank officers, ambassadors, representatives from MASS Media and other distinguished guest took part on the opening ceremony of the MOD’s Strategic Researches Institute after Drastamat Kanayan on Jan 25th.In his speech Serzh Sargsyan said that today we are present on the opening ceremony of the Strategic Researches Institute after Drastamat Kanayan in the frames of 15th anniversary of the Armenian National Army.
Our army is on the way of reforms and the specialists directed by major-general Hayk Kotanjyan, who will be working in this new building will have their active influence in the process.
This institute had already participated in elaboration works of the national security strategy as well as in many other challenges for our country.
At the end S. Sargsyan expressed his gratitude to everyone who helped in building such a center.

Ohanyan left for Brussels On June 11th, 2008, the delegation headed by RA Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan is leaving for Brussels to participate in the sitting of the Defense Ministers of the North-Atlantic Council to be convened in the format of countries participating in NATO’s action in Kosovo.

Ohanyan participated in the graduation ceremony in Monte Melkonyan military educational college On May 24th, 2008 RA defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan visited “Monte Melkonyan” military educational college to be present at the graduation party of its 58 graduate soldiers. The graduation ceremony was blessed by Saint Vrtanes priest Abrahamyan.
