NATO Advisory Group visited Armenia

From February 11 to 14, the NATO group providing advisory support to the Ministry of Defense of Armenia for development of defense education and building integrity was in Armenia on a regular visit. The aim of the visit was to conduct professional discussions on the process of the implementation of the pilot programs for the subject “Good Governance and Building Integrity” at the military training institutions of the Ministry of Defense.

The NATO Advisory Group held working meetings with the members of the working group dealing with the implementation of the subject “Good Governance and Building Integrity” at the military training institutions. The Armenian side delivered lectures on the work done, in particular, on the development and implementation of the pilot programs for the subject, training methodology and further programs.

On February 13, the NATO Advisory Group was hosted at the National Defense Research University of the Ministry of Defense where the members delivered lectures devoted to the good governance and building integrity at the strategic level.

The results of the visit of the Advisory Group were summarized during the meeting with the representatives of the working group composed of the relevant subdivisions and military training institutions of the Ministry of Defense. During the meeting, the parties agreed on the future programs and guidelines for the cooperation between the NATO Advisory Group and the military training institutions of Armenia.
