The Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia met with the representatives of the supply companies

On January 21, Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Artak Davtyan met with the supply companies and individual entrepreneurs cooperating with the Armed Forces at the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defense.

Noting the importance of the meeting in such a format, Lieutenant General Artak Davtyan emphasized that what also ensures the regular operation of the Armed Forces is the quality and timely supply of the products and services that are obtained to take care of the needs of the Armed Forces. Stating about the certain shortcomings in terms of the supply in the past the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces stressed that the leadership of the Armed Forces set the objective to eliminate all the flaws and make the cooperation with the suppliers more efficient. In order to avoid problems Lieutenant General Artak Davtyan urged the heads of the supplying companies to strictly observe the technical specifications of the products and services and follow the schedule for supply as any violation negatively impacts on the fighting capacity of the Armed Forces. Artak Davtyan also urged the suppliers to work more honestly and transparently, be proactive, come up with new proposals and speak out  in case of problems.

The Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces reminded that all products will surely undergo laboratory examination and only high quality products will be accepted. Lieutenant General Artak Davtyan also stressed that the leadership of the Armed Forces gives priority to the local producer and is interested in purchasing from a local producer if it does not affect the quality of supply.
