The parties discussed the execution of the ECHR rulings with regard to human rights breaches in the Armenian Armed Forces, measures carried out at the Ministry of Defence to impellent European human rights standards, as well as prevention of possible human rights violations.

They also discussed the Armenian Defence Ministry’s proposal to hold discussions with regard to the EU programme for strengthening human rights standards in the Armenian Armed Forces. The parties reached an agreement to continue meetings both in this format and by engaging other interested parties.
