A working group was set up at the General Staff, comprising officers of the Ministry of Defence, Armed Forces, General Staff departments and separate divisions. The planning works were coordinated by General Staff’s Operative Department, headed by the head of Department, Deputy Chief of General Staff Maj. Gen. Tiran Khachatryan.

The 2019 academic year training measures were planned by taking into consideration the tasks assigned to the Armed Forces, the current challenges, the defence minister’s instructions as well as the problematic issues arisen during the 2018 training.

Following the completion of the planning works in the Ministry of Defence, Armed Forces and General Staff departments, the outcomes were submitted to Chief of General Staff Gen. Lt. Artak Davtyan.
