Welcoming the members of the public council, Davit Tonoyan highlighted the role of the Council in analyzing the public opinion, addressing the problematic issues in the Armed Forces, as well as raising its role in the society. Tonoyan expressed confidence that the Council, through its effective activities, will continue to form an atmosphere of dialogue between the society and the Army.

Gegham Harutyunyan, an advisor to the Minister of Defence and the Public Council Coordinator, and the Council members made several recommendations during the meeting. Upcoming work plans were discussed, and the defence minister presented his observations, giving appropriate instructions.
