Summer conscription initial results summed up

The initial results of the 2018 summer conscription were discussed at the 17 October meeting held at the Ministry of Defence.

The keynote report was made by the military commissar, Maj. Gen. Henrik Muradyan, spoke about what has been done, the issues that arose during the summer conscription and how they were addressed. The report covered in detail the positive trends and achievements as well as setbacks.

The report also covered the work of the territorial military commissariats and medical commissions, including the problems existing in the field of medical tests and checkups. As a result, recommendations were submitted by relevant subdivisions.

At the end of the meeting, Defence Minister Davit Tonoyan gave instructions with regard to the issues raised and the proposals.
