Third quarter summed up

The results of the third quarter of the 2018 training year, in terms of combat readiness, combat and mobilization readiness, combat duty and military discipline were summed up at the 5th Army Corps.

The reports mentioned that the 5th Corps and its subordinate units were subjected to sudden inspections of combat readiness and showed satisfactory results. Great attention was paid to the field management outlets, their setups and uninterrupted activity. The activities aimed at resource exploration and replenishment that have had a positive impact on increasing the combat readiness of the military units and successful fulfilment of the tasks were cited.

The state of armament and equipment was also presented. In addition to maintaining them in the state of combat readiness, the importance of preparing them to winter was noted as the most important objective.

In the third quarter, the commanders worked to improve the academic, socio-economic, cultural, patriotic and spiritual education and the psychological state of the personnel.

Summing up the reports, the commander of the Corps, Col. A. Piloyan, said that during the quarter, large-scale work has been done in all directions, and thanked the servicemen for their conscientious service. Also, instructions were given for further work, arrangements of combat duty, combat training preparation and other activities.

At the end of the meeting, a group of servicemen who had shown excellent results in the third quarter were awarded.
