Officials of relevant agencies and regional administrations participated in the meeting presided over by Deputy Defence Minister Artak Davtyan.

A number of issues related to the school and regional stages of the Koryun Games held so far were discussed in addition to relevant recommendations on conducting the upcoming regional and national stages.

Koryun Military Sports Games, organized jointly by the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Education and Science, are aimed at increasing the efficiency of the students' patriotic upbringing, their interest in the military profession, and the effectiveness of the Basic Military Training subject.

During the games, students of general education institutions compete in the following categories: "Discipline and Harmony", "Quick and Effective", "Knowledgeable and Inventive", "Most Intelligent and Smart" and "Capturing the Heights."
