Winter conscription preparation monitored

Ahead of the winter conscript that starts on January 8, 2018, Chief of general Staff Gen. Lt. Movses Hakobyan visited on December 26 the central gathering station to observe the preparation works of the conscript and the preparedness of the services and subdivisions involved in the process.

Hakobyan was briefed on the conditions of the conscript reception facilities, of the dressing and medical examination rooms, as well as on the conditions of the waiting room set up for the conscripts’ parents and relatives. He was also informed about the details of the lottery procedure, as well as the works done under the "I am" program -- an alternative military service program – and the new format of privileges granted to conscripts.

Hakobyan gave relevant instructions, adding that the utmost should be done to ensure the proper execution of the winter conscript.
