Official visit of delegation headed by Armenian Defence Minister Vigen Sargsyan to Belarus continues

On the evening of November 28, the delegation was hosted at the Belarus Military Academy, one of the country’s major military institutions preparing commanding officers. During the meeting, Vigen Sargsyan was introduced to the structure of the Academy and the learning process.

The Armenian delegation toured the academy, learned about the conditions created for the students. After discussing it with the leadership of the Academy, it was decided to explore the possibilities of cooperation between the Armenian and Belarus military educational institutions.

The perspectives of the Armenian-Belarusian cooperation in military education were also discussed during the delegation’s visit to the Suvorov Military College in Minsk on November 29. The Armenian delegation toured the school and learned about the conditions of the educational process. Sargsyan briefed the leadership of the college on the experience of the Monte Melkonian Military School and told about the reforms in the Armenian military education system.

Later, the Armenian delegation visited the Belarusian State Museum of Great Patriotic War and then was hosted at the Monastery of All Saints in Minsk.
