A delegation headed by Lt. Gen. Movses Hakobyan, the chief of the Armenian Armed Forces General Staff, is set to participate in a conference titled "Combating militant extremist organizations," to be held in Washington, DC on October 23-24.

The conference, held in the format of the Chiefs of General Staff from 90 countries, aims at exchanging information, combining efforts and harmonization of actions against extremist and terrorist organizations in various regions.

In the evening of October 24, the delegation will leave Washington for Wiesbaden, Germany, to attend the Annual Conference of European Armies.
