At the guests' request, Sargsyan briefed them on the situation in South Caucasus, the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border and the line of contact between the Artsakhi and Azerbaijani forces, as well as the process of reforms in the defence sector of Armenia among other issues.

The parties also discussed the issues on the agenda of the Armenian-American bilateral cooperation and the prospects of strengthening relations with California in various fields.
