The parties discussed the programs implemented jointly by the Council of Europe and the Armenian Defence Ministry. They also discussed the UK-sponsored program implemented in conjunction with the Council of Europe aimed at bringing into conformity the human rights protection standards in the Armenian military with those of the European Union.

Vutova told Sargsyan that the first phase of the project is coming to an end and that the CoE office is determined to continue working until the project is fully complete.
