The parties discussed the results of the programs implemented under the cooperation between Armenia’s Ministry of Defence and the Kansas National Guard.

Sargsyan stressed the importance of the measures aimed at further development of the professional sergeant system, the military medicine, the evaluation results of Armenian military units preparing to participate in international peacekeeping missions, and outline prospects for further cooperation.

The American delegation expressed readiness to continue long-term cooperation in these areas and mentioned the importance of providing consultancy in military medical service, staff training and retraining, rehabilitation programs and other areas.

Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
