Among the objectives of the exercises was to improve the skills of military base commanders and deputy commanders in planning, preparing for and carrying out defensive military operations, organizing cooperation between subdivisions and harmonizing their activities, and bringing forces to different levels of combat preparedness. The exercises also aimed to train troops in carrying out combat assignments and engaging in live firing, while also increasing their level of field preparedness.

In accordance with the military exercise plan, and as demanded by the regulations for troop safety and military equipment usage, a military hike was organized with the goal of distributing subdivisions in central defense areas. Practical training sessions addressing issues concerning combat preparedness, readiness and combat organization were carried out.

Analyzing and summarizing the results of the military exercise, the commander of the army corps, colonel Valeri Qocharyan evaluated the level of preparedness of the subdivisions and the strategic-professional skills of the commanding staff to be at a high level. Noting that the subdivisions included in the military exercise showed good results and successfully carried out their assigned tasks, colonel Valeri Qocharyan gave several assignments to resolve existing shortcomings.
