Business programme: invitation to dialogue

First International Exhibition of Arms and Defence Technologies, ArmHiTec 2016, envisages not only comprehensive exhibition and display options, but also a multi-faceted business programme that provides for a unique opportunity to bring up and discuss various issues as well as take opinion and get advice from the leading defence and security experts.

Being an inherent part of any exhibition event, business programme plays a crucial role of the meeting point of contact and a platform for interaction between exhibitors, visitors and industry experts, think tankers and analysts. First and foremost, such kind of event as a business programme offers a unique opportunity and affords ground for exchange of views and sharing experience as well as cutting-edge technologies and solutions concerning current relevant topics and burning issues.

The business programme section will be opened by a plenary session of the research-to-practice conference of the Armenian Ministry of Defence ‘Technologies of the 21st Century in the Development of Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia. International Cooperation. Organised by the Programme Committee.

The invitation for a joint participation in the conference together with the representatives of the General Staff  was extended to the Chiefs of General Staff of the Russian Federation and the CSTO states as well as to public authority representatives and decision-makers of the military industrial complex. A number of business programme events, such as research-to-practise conferences, sessions and round tables will be held under the chairmanship of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia.

A wide range of aspects and issues concerning the military-industrial complex will be brought up to discussion. In particular, the subjects of discussion will be robotic systems,  laser technologies, electronic warfare technologies and radioelectronic technologies and solutions, communication, navigation and guidance systems, telecommunication, cybersecurity technologies and solutions, automated and computerized and unmanned  systems and a number of others.

Holding of an intensive dialogue between the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia and the representatives of the industry enterprises will make provision for forging business contacts and relationships  with the existing enterprises of thedefence -industrial complex.
