On April 3, the delegation headed by the Chief of General Staff of the ARM Armed Forces Yuri Khachaturov left for Astana, Kazakhstan, to participate in the regular session of the Committee of the Chiefs of the Armed Forces of CIS member countries.
The Committee is a collegial body endowed with advisory functions and composed of the members states’ Chiefs of General Staffs.
The Committee also makes analyses of the state of the member states’ armed forces and brings forward suggestions for their further improvement and development.
