On March 19, the delegation headed by the ARM Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan left for USA on a working visit.
In the framework of the visit the delegation, in the partner State of Kansas, is to meet the Governor of Kansas Sam Brownback, President of the Senate of Kansas Stephen Morris, Speaker of the Kansas House of Representatives Mike O`Neal, and Adjutant General of Kansas Major General Lee Tafanelli.
In Washington the ARM Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan is to meet Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, Director of the Central Intelligence Agency David Petraeus, Assistant Secretary of Defense Joseph McMillan, Assistant of Secretary of State Philip Gordon and Assistant of Secretary of State Andrew Shapiro.
During the meetings they will discuss issues concerning bilateral cooperation and regional security.
In the framework of the visit they are also to meet UN High Representative for Disarmament Affairs Angela Kane and United Nations Assistant Secretary-General for the Department of Peacekeeping Operations Dmitry Titov.
