International Educational Opportunities
For officers of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia offers different opportunities to study abroad in foreign military-educational institutions, which provide high quality education, enormous resources for theoretical and practical knowledge, and opportunities for officers to exchange experience. In the framework of international education study programs are offered in the following countries:
• United States of America – Classes of English, followed by different professional trainings in the framework of IMET (International Military Education and Training) program,
• Military-educational institutions of the People’s Liberation Army of People’s Republic of China – different professional and medical courses for staff officers,
• Federal Republic of Germany - different professional and medical courses for staff officers,
• Military-educational institutions of the Hellenic Republic – courses for commander-staff officers,
• St. John University of York, UK – courses of military English,
• Lithuania – courses of military English,
• Baltic Defence College of Estonia – commander and general staff courses.
The participants to the abovementioned educational programs are selected from the best participants of the English language courses organized in the Section of Training Personnel through International Programs and Teaching Foreign Languages of the Department of Personnel and Military Education.
